The came is made from faux Jasperware resin, and the gold filigree work is bright, beautiful, and as shiny as the day it was originally made. The detail work is very nice; you can appreciate the details in her hair, her facial features, and the ruffles in her clothing even from a distance. The item has no damage or repair markings at all, and the gold filled filigree work has no wear. It is an exceptionally well made pin with thick filigree work and a good locking clasp.
