Vintage Mid Century 1960s 1970s Danish Modern Teak Wood Abstract Art Table Lamp Scandinavian Orange Colorful Free Form Enameled
This is a vintage 1960s to 1970s mid century hand painted enameled and teak Scandinavian Danish Modern table lamp. It is quite colorful with a flamboyant, showy mix of oranges, yellows, reds, blacks etc. One side is free form and the other side looks more like mid century drip art. The colors are brighter and more noticeable in person that what you see in photos. You can immediately see that it is from the mid 1900s. The teak wood has some wear to the finish which does not detract and can probably be oiled up once it is cleaned. This item is from an estate where it sat for many decades. It will need a green felt replacement on the bottom the original felt disintegrated and I wouldn't trust such an old style wire so you should probably rewire it. Overall condition is excellent. No cracks or chips or flakes. No damage or repair. Size is just about 24" tall. Without the harp the teak wood body measures 11" tall by 6" wide at the base. The enameled center is 6 1/2" square. This is a most unusual mid century lamp for your vintage modernist collection.

Vintage Mid Century Danish Modernist Niels Erik NE From Amber Pin Brooch - This is a vintage mid century pin/brooch with a very large amber cabochon made by very well-known modernist maker Niels Erik From. The amber cab measures 27mm by 15mm and has strong deep brown color with golden highlights in lighting. The pin itself measures 1 3/4" long by 1 1/8" wide. The amber also has 2 tiny abrasions like small dust speckles, likely natural. Overall in completely original, never altered, excellent gently used condition. No cracks, chips, inclusions etc... The silver has some light surface age scratches that could be polished out. No dents or dings or tears or deep scratches. Never monogrammed or inscribed. Good strong working clasp. This is a lovely pin by a famous well-known maker for your mid century jewelry collection.

The back is marked sterling, old full word block letter 1950s to 1960s sterling marking along with maker's mark. It has some age wear that looks like hammering to the inside lowest part of the circle. This is a handmade pin with the circles appearing to be handwrought. The onyx has 1 very tiny abrasion about 1mm. Overall condition of entire pin is excellent, gently used. From an estate and in original condition having no alteration or repair. Mid Century Mexican Sterling Silver Modernist Taxco Leaf Vine Pin Brooch - 1960s mid century modernist long vine and leaf lapel pin. Marked Taxco, sterling, Mexico with maker's mark. Size is 2 5/8" long by 5/8"wide directly across the center (not including the overhang loop). Other than surface age scuffs it is in excellent, gently used condition overall. No dents or dings or damage or repair. All hand crafted, fine quality. The design incorporated a raised curved stem with thick silver wrap and ball end atop a long slender curvy leaf. Very well made by an experienced silver maker; although long and slender it would take a lot of strength to bend it. This is a lovely showy 1960s pin your vintage mid century collection. Nice and long so it looks great on any lapel!

Mid Century Long Sterling Silver Leaf Lapel Pin Brooch - This is a 3 1/4" long sterling silver 1960s lapel pin brooch of a very detailed flowing leaf. The inside of the leaf has short, crisp, tight, striations from top to bottom and the stem ins raised inside of the leaf about 3/4 of the way up to the leaf point where is blends into the rest of the stem which is inverted into the silver. The back is well textured. Marked sterling. Width across the center is 5/8" tapering narrower at the ends. Excellent overall condition.

1960s Danish Modern Large Rose Quartz Pin Brooch by mid century Scandinavian artist/designer NE Niels Erik From in sterling silver and rose quartz. As with much of From’s minimalist artistic work during this time frame the pin is concave bowl shaped which makes the large bezel set rose quartz stone visibly open yet deep set. Size is 1 3/4″ by 1 1/8″. The large 25mm by 14mm rose quartz stone is pale pink color with silvery rutilated lines inside the stone. Other than surface age scratches to the sterling it is in excellent condition. No cracks or chips or abrasions to the stone. No dents or dings. Never repaired or altered. All original condition. Good secure locking clasp. A lovely pin by a well known mid century modernist jewelry maker with a very large gemstone for your vintage jewelry collection.
1980 Mid Century Modernist 14K Gold Opal Swirl Ring Size 6.25
1980 Mid Century Modernist 14K Gold Opal Swirl Ring Size 6.25 - Vintage mid century 1980s jeweler estate ring originally used for display. It is marked 14K, tested and guaranteed solid 14K YELLOW GOLD. Their is minor edge wear inside the band on the edge where it was filed for testing. Other than this it is in original, crisp, clean, excellent condition. All original. No damage or repair. All good stones. The top has a late mid century swirl design which spirals outward with the opals. Just the top measures 1/2" north to south by 7/16" east to west. Height above the finger line is 1/4" from the finger to the top stone which is a little higher in the setting than the smaller stones given the design. The opal cabochons around the outer section are 2mm each and the center opal cab is 5mm by 3mm. All are pale blue milky white with neon pinks, reds, greens, aquas, blues etc.... The natural blue color is very, very pretty and all colors can be seen best in the last photos which were taken with lighting or flash. Ring size is 6.25. Weight is 2.9 grams. Overall excellent condition. No damage or repair. This is a lovely ring for your fine jewelry collection and good for every day use.

As many Goldette collectors know the gold plating on Goldette jewelry was so heavily applied that oftentimes the marking is either very faint or not found because it lies underneath the gold. These earrings were part of an estate of an old jeweler who manufactured and distributed jewelry for Goldette, Florenza, Hollycraft and many other costume houses during the 1970s to 1990s. They were never used and are in wonderful, original, mint condition. No gold wear. They are also showy and very well made. Screws work well. Size of each earrings is 3/4″ tall north to south by 1/2″ wide across the centers east to west. Weight is 9.4 grams for both. Large Vintage Industrialist Pierced Hoop Earrings Yellow Gold Plate - Mid Century Modernist - This is pair of vintage 1970s to 1980s, pierced post, hoop earrings with mid century modernist industrialist machinist design. They are very heavily gold plated and are likely vintage Goldette jewelry. As many Goldette collectors know, the gold plating on Goldette jewelry was so heavily applied that oftentimes the marking is either very faint or not found because it lies underneath the gold. These earrings were part of an estate of an old jeweler who manufactured and distributed jewelry for Goldette, Florenza, Hollycraft and many other costume houses during the 1970s to 1990s. They were only ever used for display and are in original, excellent condition having only a NY mark inside each earrings. All gold is intact and there are no scratches, dents, dings etc....No damage. No repair. They are also very heavy and showy! Size across each earring hoop is just over 1". Height north to south is 1.25". The outside of the earrings are graduated from 1/16" at the very end tips to 7/16" wide across the bottoms. Weight is 19.6 grams for both. This is a lovely, showy pair of earrings for your vintage jewelry collection. Hard to find these in this condition and weight.

This is a large 14K Yellow gold modernist heart ring with a hand cut black onyx center surrounded by natural diamonds. The European 585 14k gold mark is partly worn from age. It has been jeweler tested and is Guaranteed to be solid 14K gold with all of the original gemstones intact......Not plated or filled. The band is a little crooked from age and use. Other than this it is in excellent condition. The stones are also excellent. No cracks or chips or damage or repair. Ring size is 9 1/2. Just the heart top alone measures 11/16" across East to West. Shoulder to shoulder is 7/8". Weight is heavy at 8.6 grams. Total diamond gemstone weight is .13 carat. This is a sharp looking, showy modernist statement ring for your collection.
