1920s Art Deco Little Bo Peep Sterling Silver Baby Toddler Rattle
This is an early Art Deco Little Bo Peep Sterling Silver Nursery Rattle Toy for baby or toddler. It has an old old block letter, full word, sterling marking and is also tested and Guaranteed to be solid sterling silver....Not Plated. The handle is old ivorine celluloid, is reglued to the connector and has a couple of tiny insignificant flakes at the connector like from baby biting on it. The rattle works and makes an appropriate jingle when it is shaken. Overall condition is excellent. It has a couple of expected age dings on the edge but no deep scratches or tears or damage to the sterling silver. Never altered or repaired. Original. Bo Peep and her sheep are still crisp and clear on both sides. Not worn down. Any dark marks you see are light tarnish which were picked up by the magnification of the camera but are not eye noticeable. All of the sterling silver looks crisp, clean and clear. Size is 5 1/4" long, north to south from top of rattle to bottom of handle. Width in diameter across the top is 17/8" east to west. Sterling Silver nursery rattles are not not so easy to find today and this is a lovely, early, highly detailed example for your collection.

Vintage Art Deco era Georg Jensen Pyramid sterling silver, 1933-1944 tartelet, pate, tart slice, chunk cake server. Old 1933-1944 JGJ mark. Size is 7 1/2″ long. Never monogrammed or inscribed. It has all over surface age scratches that can be jeweler polished out. No dents or dings or tears or gauges. The Pyramid pattern is still crisp and not worn down. 1950 Mexican Sterling Silver Amethyst Box Pillbox Old Eagle Mark
1950 Mexican Sterling Silver Amethyst Box Pillbox Old Eagle Mark - Gorgeous, beautifully jeweled vintage 1950s, older hallmarks, Mexican Sterling Silver Hinged Pillbox. The amethyst has much, much better purple color than the photo could capture. It has #3 eagle marking along with JS maker mark and is all handmade, strong and very well made. After all these years it has still held its form perfectly, still has a strong hinge and open and closes easily. You can actually hear the loud snap when it is closed so you know it is locked securely and won't open. It was never monogrammed or inscribed. Overall condition is excellent. No dents or dings to the sterling silver silver. No chips or cracks to the large 20mm natural hand cut cabochon amethyst stone. The stone has a noticeable purple color. The top edge of the stone has some age abrasions but other than this it is fine. It is bezel set and finished with a twisted silver application around the perimeter of the bezel. Size from top of cabochon to bottom of box is 3/4" tall. Left to right east to west measures 1 1/4" long. Width/depth measures 1" front to back. Not easy to find original, older mid century jeweled Mexican Sterling Silver items this is a lovely box for your collection.
1973 Gold Sterling Silver Michelsen Georg Jensen Holiday Christmas Spoon
This is a beautifully made, very fine quality, vintage A Michelsen, Denmark, gold over sterling silver, 1973 Christmas Holiday “winter solstice” spoon marked 925S for sterling silver quality. The winter solstice is close to Christmas with the shortest day of the year when the sun is the farthest away and signifies December 21, as the first day of winter. Christmas Holiday spoon and fork cutlery were started in 1910 by A Michelsen in Denmark. The spoons and forks were designed by well-known artists each year. In 2003 Georg Jensen took over the name and production of the holiday cutlery and discontinued fork production in 2003. This spoon is called “Winter Solstice” and is beautifully decorated with enameled figures embracing each other on the handle along with a bright sunburst above them. The figures are a family – mother, father, and infant child, and likely represent Mary, Joseph, and Jesus in honor of Christmas. The enameling is slate blue gray with silvery highlights. Size is 6 3/8″. The bowl is 2" by 1". The back reads: July 1973, IB Spang Olsen, 925S, 1973, Copyright mark, A Michelsen, Sterling, Danmark. Weight is 49 grams. Other than some light age wear surface scratches it is in excellent condition. All of the heavy gold overlay is intact. Bright and shiny. All enameling is also intact; crisp and strong. No dents, dings, gauges, tears, etc….The only wear mark on the bowl is where it sat and rested all these years. This is a lovely example of late mid century Scandinavian artistry by a well-known and highly repsected Danish maker for vintage holiday and or silver spoon collection. The sterling silver is very thick, substantial, and weighty at 49 grams!
2 Antique Repoussed Art Nouveau Woodside Sterling Silver Serving Bowl Pair
***These are quite old. One has scratches and the other has tiny dings in the bottom of the bowl. A jeweler polishing will fix this. This is a pair of antique fancy respoussed Woodside Art Nouveau Sterling Silver table serving bowls that were never monogrammed. Marked Sterling, a W maker mark for Woodside Sterling Company and numbered #292. Size is 5" across each in diameter by 1 5/16" deep. From age and use one has deep scrataches and a few tiny dings in the bowl. The other has some light surface scratches. No tears or splits. Completely Original. Never repaired. Weight is 117.8 grams for both. Great for nuts, candy, condiments, berries etc....This is a lovely pair of fancy Art Nouveau bowls for your table and/or sterling silver collection.
3 Pair Gorham Sterling Silver Chantilly Grand Salt Pepper 6
This is a gorgeous group of 3 pairs of vintage Gorham Sterling Silver master salt and pepper shakers in the Chantilly Grand pattern. Total of 6 pieces.They are Gorham hallmarked and numbered A604 and also marked sterling. Dating to the 1940s they are from an estate and were used for formal dining only. They were never monogrammed or inscribed. Size of each is 4 1/2" tall north to south from tip of top to bottom. Width across the center of each east to west is 2 3/8". Depth is almost 2". They are chunky, wide, and bulbous; they also have a beautiful, showy pattern of flowers, scrolls and flourishes throughout. Two shoulders have a very minor tiny ding, one on each; see last photo. One has a small, minor joint repair; can be buffed; not eye catchy. All have light, minimal age wear, faint scratches only. Original owner may have had more salt and peppers and somewhere along the way confused the sets as 1 top has different piercings. There are no major dents, no deep scratches, no gauges, no tears or any other major problems. They were kept in excellent condition. As Chantilly Grand is ever popular and very desirable this is a lovely estate group for your formal dining table. These do come up every once in a while for auction but it is quite rare and very, very hard to find a group of 3 Chantilly Grand sets with the same numbering in excellent condition from one estate.

This is a gorgeous very heavy and very well made vintage fancy sugar and creamer set that is footed with lion paws and decorated with detailed lion heads. Stamped sterling with hallmarks. Never monogrammed or inscribed and condition is excellent. No damage or repair. No dents or dings. Never altered or modified. Completely original estate silver. Weight is heavy at 324 grams. Size is 5 1/8" across the handles of the sugar by by 3" tall handle to foot. Creamer is 4 1/4" wide and is also 3" tall. They are so thick and so well made that they will probably never dent or ding. Although clean and shiny a jeweler polishing will make these look wonderful for use with any other fancy period silver that you may have.
4 Antique Sterling Silver Repousse Dessert Bowls in Box Ice Cream Sorbet
This is a very fancy group of 4 deep sterling silver bowls with repoussed pansy edges in excellent condition. No dents or gauges or repair. They are maker marked R. Silver and have been thoroughly DEEP tested as solid sterling silver. The last photo shows you where it was acid tested with 18k on a black basalt testing stone and came back creamy white. Tested 3 times deeply same spot and small cut in groove also tests as sterling. The bottoms are monogrammed "With Love, From Reena N Sumant". They are in their original antique blue velvet box and the bottom underside is VERY worn/faded. The inside of the box is white satin line and excellent. They measure 4 1/2" across in diameter and are almost 2" deep. The fancy repousse flower pattern is still crisp and not worn down. Weight is 200.3 grams. This is a gorgeous group of antique silver bowls for your collection. Nice and deep and fancy and excellent condition. Cleaned but not polished out.

Antique 1853 Early Victorian Sheffield Silver Presentation Tray - This is a wonderful dated 1853 presentation tray which was presented from father to daughter in 1902. It has early hallmarks, see photo. Likely an early Sheffield mark attributed to Mappin Brothers who partnered with Samson and Sons in 1846. Beautifully chased it has large open fancy scrolls, long tailed long beaked elegant birds, fanciful leaves and lovely flowers. It also has a deeply scalloped border with pierced open work throughout along with very unusual feet that are very wide/broad and have a raised nut fruit pattern surrounded by raised balls within a thick scroll perimeter. Size is 10 1/4" across east to west, edge to edge. Height is 1 1/2" from the lower curve of the scallop down to the bottom of foot. Weight is 1.2 pounds or 16.4 troy ounces. Condition is excellent, gently used. No dents or dings but quite a few surface scratches. If you look at the open work edge you will see 3 tiny solder joints where this was originally soldered after the piercing was completed by the original silversmith or they are very early silver solder repairs. They look more like solder joints from the original making. There are also 2 tiny 2-3mm spots at the corner of 2 piercings that need solder repair. These are very tiny and minor. Overall condition is excellent. This is a gorgeous early dated presentation piece for your antique estate silver collection.

Antique 1903 Lunt Sterling Silver Tongs Sugar Candy Bon Bon Pastry - This is an antique turn of the century flatware sterling silver tongs server dated 1903 with matching hallmarks for this date. Made by Lunt, Rogers and Bowlen. The RLB hallmark was discontinued in 1935. This Edwardian Era cartouche pattern predates 1920 so the 1903 year date on this tong is likely the actual date of manufacture. They are also stamped sterling. The tips have 5 curved graduated tines and the cartouches were never monogammed or inscribed. They also have good spring back which is an indicator of higher quality silversmithing. Size is 4 1/4″ long. This size tong is commonly used as a server for sugar, delicate foods like hors d’ouevres, cookies, candies, bon bon, light pastries or other fine light foods. Width across the handle cartouch is 9/16". Width across the bottom is 1/8". Width across the clawed tip is 1/2". They have surface age wear scratches that could be professionally polished out. Antique 1904 Sterling Silver Margh Aries Spoon English Cornish Mark
This is an antique zodiac Gorham Black Starr and Frost 1904 sterling silver name table spoon - Margh; this is the UK English Cornish name for Mark. It is marked and guaranteed to be solid sterling silver.....Not plated. It also has an M makers hallmark along with early Gorham hallmarks. The handle is beautifully decorated in relief with a raised Aries, a detailed bull, Aries symbol, an Art Nouveau scroll shell design, and a ball end top. There is also some raised flora in the bowl and an engraved 21st toward the center of the handle. Likely presented to Margh for a 21st birthday in 1904 or Margh's birthday fell on the 21st of the month. It is thick, chunky, strong and very well made. Nice and solid. Other than age scratches that can be polished out it is in excellent condition. No dents, dings, tears, gauges or damage. Size is just about 6" long. Weight is HEAVY at 39 grams. This is a lovely antique presentation gift for anyone named Margh or Mark!
Antique Art Nouveau Lady Head Wilcox Silverplate Gravy Ladle
This is a gorgeous antique late Victorian to very early Art Nouveau silverplated figural lady handle silverplated gravy ladle made by Wilcox Silver Company. This is one of Wilcox's earlier pieces. It has a lovely raised full figure Art Nouveau lady with unusually fine facial, clothing, hair, arms, and upper body detail. Very deep, strong, and highly noticeable. The rest of the ladle is decorated with raised Victorian bead work, floral, and leaf embellishments and some raised scroll work amid the lady's arms. Made between 1890-1910. True original Art Nouveau and beautifully made. The body of the lady forms the cartouche for a monogram or inscription. Size is 7" long north to south by 2 1/2" across the bowl east to west. It is thick, strong, solid, and very well made. Other than the normally expected all over scuffs/scratches from age which could be professionally polished out it is in excellent condition. All silverplating is intact. No worn areas. The lady and full handle are still nice and crisp; not worn down. Never monogrammed. No dents or dings. Nor are there any tears or deep scratches. Antique Art Nouveau Lady Sterling Silver Brush Vanity Hair Clothes
This is an antique 1900 Art Nouveau full size sterling silver vanity brush that could be used for hair, lint, clothes, etc... It is marked sterling with a maker hallmark. The top has a raised, Art Nouveau, repoussed lady head with large, fancy flower, flowing hair draping into the body of the brush, and a very detailed profile of her face. The handle has matching flowers and an elongated scrolled edge. Very pretty. All of the natural hair is intact and held into the brush by its original gesso type composition. Much of the paint that covered the gesso is worn away. The lip of silver that meets the composition is crimped. There are also some tiny dings and a fingernail dent here and there. The repoussed work with the Art Nouveau face is excellent. Size is 8 1/2" long top to bottom by 2 3/4" wide east to west across the top center (just below the face) by 1 5/16" across the width of the bottom of the handle east to west. Depth varies from 9/16" to 3/4" without including the hair. With the hair it is 1 1/2" from top of face to bottom of hair. This brush is from a one family intergenerational estate and completely original. The face is very pretty and strongly pronounced on this brush because the repousse is so deep. This is a beautiful Art Nouveau lady head brush for any vanity and ladies accessories collection.

Antique Continental 800 Silver Sugar Creamer Set German Hallmarks
Antique Continental 800 Silver Sugar Creamer Set German Hallmarks - Made between the Victorian and Edwardian (1880s to Turn of Century) this is a gorgeous ornate Baroque Floral design sugar and creamer with bulbous Victorian bodies. They are stamped 800 with early German Hallmarks. Also, tested and Guaranteed to be solid 800 Silver.......Not plated. There are cartouches on both the fronts and backs which were never monogrammed or inscribed. Both fronts and backs are wonderfully decorated with Baroque floral repousse amid a chunky striated background with deep recess. There is also a fanciful drape going around the tops and similar draping around the bottoms. The sugar lid has a large hand applied blooming rose flower accent on top which is used to remove and replace the lid. Nice to find a set with the sugar lid still intact. Oftentimes, the lids go missing over the years. Both pieces are additionally decorated with curved legs which provide nice visual depth to these pieces. Size of SUGAR is 4 3/4" north to south from top of flower to bottom of feet straight down. Width east to west, outer handle to outer handle is 6 3/8". Depth front cartouche to back cartouche measures just about 3 3/8". Size of CREAMER is 4" from top of handle to bottom of feet straight down. Width across east to west, tip of spout to outer handle is 5" across. Depth front cartouche to back cartouche is just about 3". COMBINED WEIGHT of BOTH sugar and creamer is HEAVY at 468.2 grams. Condition is excellent. Floral work and recesses are still nice and deep and crisp. Very clear. Not worn down. There is very minor age wear, a few small light age scratches here and there; nothing deep or obvious. Very minor. There is also one small fingertip indent to the back cartouche on the creamer. The cartouches were never monogrammed or inscribed. Nor has there been any mono removal. Completely original condition. No alterations or modifications. Never repaired. No gauges, tears, splits or cracks. Overall condition is lovely. This is a stunning set for your formal dining table and antique silver collection.
