1920s Hand Chased Ellmore Sterling Silver Tea Set Service Teaset Large - This is a fancy, ornately hand chased, early Art Deco 1920s, sterling silver tea service in a large size made by Ellmore. All 3 pieces are marked sterling, numbered #7185, and marked Ellmore with original hallmark. It has a fancy script monogram in the center cartouche on one side. All pieces are in excellent, well maintained condition. From the estate of original owner's family it is completely original. Never altered or modified in any way. Other than very minor light surface age wear it is in Excellent Overall Condition. No damage or repair. All 3 pieces sit flat on the table having No wobble. There are no dents, dings, deep scratches, tears, or gauges. Tops fits well and handles are strong. It is clean but could use a fresh polishing. The creamer is a large double size which measures 7" tall by 5" wide across the top from handle to spout. The sugar is also a large double size measuring 8" tall by 6.5" wide handle to handle. The teapot measures measures a full 12" tall by 10" wide spout to handle. Weight is heavy at 60.62 troy ounces or 1,715.7 grams. This is a gorgeous, original tea service for your formal dining table which should accommodate servicing for 12. It is thick, solid, strong, durable sterling silver and very, very well-made!!

1973 Gold Sterling Silver Michelsen Georg Jensen Holiday Christmas Spoon
This is a beautifully made, very fine quality, vintage A Michelsen, Denmark, gold over sterling silver, 1973 Christmas Holiday “winter solstice” spoon marked 925S for sterling silver quality. The winter solstice is close to Christmas with the shortest day of the year when the sun is the farthest away and signifies December 21, as the first day of winter. Christmas Holiday spoon and fork cutlery were started in 1910 by A Michelsen in Denmark. The spoons and forks were designed by well-known artists each year. In 2003 Georg Jensen took over the name and production of the holiday cutlery and discontinued fork production in 2003. This spoon is called “Winter Solstice” and is beautifully decorated with enameled figures embracing each other on the handle along with a bright sunburst above them. The figures are a family – mother, father, and infant child, and likely represent Mary, Joseph, and Jesus in honor of Christmas. The enameling is slate blue gray with silvery highlights. Size is 6 3/8″. The bowl is 2" by 1". The back reads: July 1973, IB Spang Olsen, 925S, 1973, Copyright mark, A Michelsen, Sterling, Danmark. Weight is 49 grams. Other than some light age wear surface scratches it is in excellent condition. All of the heavy gold overlay is intact. Bright and shiny. All enameling is also intact; crisp and strong. No dents, dings, gauges, tears, etc….The only wear mark on the bowl is where it sat and rested all these years. This is a lovely example of late mid century Scandinavian artistry by a well-known and highly repsected Danish maker for vintage holiday and or silver spoon collection. The sterling silver is very thick, substantial, and weighty at 49 grams!

2 Antique Repoussed Art Nouveau Woodside Sterling Silver Serving Bowl Pair
***These are quite old. One has scratches and the other has tiny dings in the bottom of the bowl. A jeweler polishing will fix this. This is a pair of antique fancy respoussed Woodside Art Nouveau Sterling Silver table serving bowls that were never monogrammed. Marked Sterling, a W maker mark for Woodside Sterling Company and numbered #292. Size is 5" across each in diameter by 1 5/16" deep. From age and use one has deep scrataches and a few tiny dings in the bowl. The other has some light surface scratches. No tears or splits. Completely Original. Never repaired. Weight is 117.8 grams for both. Great for nuts, candy, condiments, berries etc....This is a lovely pair of fancy Art Nouveau bowls for your table and/or sterling silver collection.

3 Pair Gorham Sterling Silver Chantilly Grand Salt Pepper 6
This is a gorgeous group of 3 pairs of vintage Gorham Sterling Silver master salt and pepper shakers in the Chantilly Grand pattern. Total of 6 pieces.They are Gorham hallmarked and numbered A604 and also marked sterling. Dating to the 1940s they are from an estate and were used for formal dining only. They were never monogrammed or inscribed. Size of each is 4 1/2" tall north to south from tip of top to bottom. Width across the center of each east to west is 2 3/8". Depth is almost 2". They are chunky, wide, and bulbous; they also have a beautiful, showy pattern of flowers, scrolls and flourishes throughout. Two shoulders have a very minor tiny ding, one on each; see last photo. One has a small, minor joint repair; can be buffed; not eye catchy. All have light, minimal age wear, faint scratches only. Original owner may have had more salt and peppers and somewhere along the way confused the sets as 1 top has different piercings. There are no major dents, no deep scratches, no gauges, no tears or any other major problems. They were kept in excellent condition. As Chantilly Grand is ever popular and very desirable this is a lovely estate group for your formal dining table. These do come up every once in a while for auction but it is quite rare and very, very hard to find a group of 3 Chantilly Grand sets with the same numbering in excellent condition from one estate.

4 Antique Sterling Silver Repousse Dessert Bowls in Box Ice Cream Sorbet
This is a very fancy group of 4 deep sterling silver bowls with repoussed pansy edges in excellent condition. No dents or gauges or repair. They are maker marked R. Silver and have been thoroughly DEEP tested as solid sterling silver. The last photo shows you where it was acid tested with 18k on a black basalt testing stone and came back creamy white. Tested 3 times deeply same spot and small cut in groove also tests as sterling. The bottoms are monogrammed "With Love, From Reena N Sumant". They are in their original antique blue velvet box and the bottom underside is VERY worn/faded. The inside of the box is white satin line and excellent. They measure 4 1/2" across in diameter and are almost 2" deep. The fancy repousse flower pattern is still crisp and not worn down. Weight is 200.3 grams. This is a gorgeous group of antique silver bowls for your collection. Nice and deep and fancy and excellent condition. Cleaned but not polished out.

800 Continental European Silver Ladies Hand Vanity Mirror accessory Fancy vintage estate silver with small etched arrowhead wildflowers and soft pretty Florentined finish. Nice to find one of these in such excellent condition. It is stamped 800, old marking and is also tested and Guaranteed to be solid 800 fine silver. See last photo for marking. The silver is all good. No splits, cracks, dents or breaks. A couple of tiny age dings. The fancy Florentine tight cross hatched brushed finish is even and uniform throughout. The original beveled mirror is in place having spotted wear marks. Any compact mirror could be used for replacement if desired but not necessary. Antique 1853 Early Victorian Sheffield Silver Presentation Tray
Antique 1853 Early Victorian Sheffield Silver Presentation Tray - This is a wonderful dated 1853 presentation tray which was presented from father to daughter in 1902. It has early hallmarks, see photo. Likely an early Sheffield mark attributed to Mappin Brothers who partnered with Samson and Sons in 1846. Beautifully chased it has large open fancy scrolls, long tailed long beaked elegant birds, fanciful leaves and lovely flowers. It also has a deeply scalloped border with pierced open work throughout along with very unusual feet that are very wide/broad and have a raised nut fruit pattern surrounded by raised balls within a thick scroll perimeter. Size is 10 1/4" across east to west, edge to edge. Height is 1 1/2" from the lower curve of the scallop down to the bottom of foot. Weight is 1.2 pounds or 16.4 troy ounces. Condition is excellent, gently used. No dents or dings but quite a few surface scratches. If you look at the open work edge you will see 3 tiny solder joints where this was originally soldered after the piercing was completed by the original silversmith or they are very early silver solder repairs. They look more like solder joints from the original making. There are also 2 tiny 2-3mm spots at the corner of 2 piercings that need solder repair. These are very tiny and minor. Overall condition is excellent. This is a gorgeous early dated presentation piece for your antique estate silver collection.

Antique 1903 Lunt Sterling Silver Tongs Sugar Candy Bon Bon Pastry - This is an antique turn of the century flatware sterling silver tongs server dated 1903 with matching hallmarks for this date. Made by Lunt, Rogers and Bowlen. The RLB hallmark was discontinued in 1935. This Edwardian Era cartouche pattern predates 1920 so the 1903 year date on this tong is likely the actual date of manufacture. They are also stamped sterling. The tips have 5 curved graduated tines and the cartouches were never monogammed or inscribed. They also have good spring back which is an indicator of higher quality silversmithing. Size is 4 1/4″ long. This size tong is commonly used as a server for sugar, delicate foods like hors d’ouevres, cookies, candies, bon bon, light pastries or other fine light foods. Width across the handle cartouch is 9/16". Width across the bottom is 1/8". Width across the clawed tip is 1/2". They have surface age wear scratches that could be professionally polished out. This is an antique zodiac Gorham Black Starr and Frost 1904 sterling silver name table spoon - Margh; this is the UK English Cornish name for Mark. It is marked and guaranteed to be solid sterling silver.....Not plated. It also has an M makers hallmark along with early Gorham hallmarks. The handle is beautifully decorated in relief with a raised Aries, a detailed bull, Aries symbol, an Art Nouveau scroll shell design, and a ball end top. There is also some raised flora in the bowl and an engraved 21st toward the center of the handle. Likely presented to Margh for a 21st birthday in 1904 or Margh's birthday fell on the 21st of the month. It is thick, chunky, strong and very well made. Nice and solid. Antique 1928 Sterling Silver Gold Wash Blue Enamel Box Compact Vanity Calling Card - This is a gorgeous dated 1928 calling card case, box, vanity compact in sterling silver with a heavy gold wash and cobalt blue French guilloche enameling and fancy engraved edges. The enameling is all the way around on all 6 sides. The inside is engraved "Helen, 1928", assumed to be the year of gift presentation. The inside is also marked with a 925 punch mark alongside assay mark and #125 in the upper corner. These marks are all contained on the lid. The bottom inside has 4 more hallmarks with GS maker mark, 925 mark, origin marks and year date M mark. It also has a matching #125 in the lower corner. Size is 3 3/16" long by 2 1/8" wide by 1/4" deep. It is beautifully made with a strongly hinged spring lid and very, very strong locking clip. Weight is heavy at 100.5 grams. There are some light, faint age scuffs and 2 very small partial edge flakes on the surface on the small edge. The blue enamel is still very visible. Overall it was kept in excellent condition for the past 91 years and the construction appears to have been very high end for its time. This is a stunning calling card box for your antique silver ladies accessory collection!!

Antique Continental 800 Silver Sugar Creamer Set German Hallmarks
Antique Continental 800 Silver Sugar Creamer Set German Hallmarks - Made between the Victorian and Edwardian (1880s to Turn of Century) this is a gorgeous ornate Baroque Floral design sugar and creamer with bulbous Victorian bodies. They are stamped 800 with early German Hallmarks. Also, tested and Guaranteed to be solid 800 Silver.......Not plated. There are cartouches on both the fronts and backs which were never monogrammed or inscribed. Both fronts and backs are wonderfully decorated with Baroque floral repousse amid a chunky striated background with deep recess. There is also a fanciful drape going around the tops and similar draping around the bottoms. The sugar lid has a large hand applied blooming rose flower accent on top which is used to remove and replace the lid. Nice to find a set with the sugar lid still intact. Oftentimes, the lids go missing over the years. Both pieces are additionally decorated with curved legs which provide nice visual depth to these pieces. Size of SUGAR is 4 3/4" north to south from top of flower to bottom of feet straight down. Width east to west, outer handle to outer handle is 6 3/8". Depth front cartouche to back cartouche measures just about 3 3/8". Size of CREAMER is 4" from top of handle to bottom of feet straight down. Width across east to west, tip of spout to outer handle is 5" across. Depth front cartouche to back cartouche is just about 3". COMBINED WEIGHT of BOTH sugar and creamer is HEAVY at 468.2 grams. Condition is excellent. Floral work and recesses are still nice and deep and crisp. Very clear. Not worn down. There is very minor age wear, a few small light age scratches here and there; nothing deep or obvious. Very minor. There is also one small fingertip indent to the back cartouche on the creamer. The cartouches were never monogrammed or inscribed. Nor has there been any mono removal. Completely original condition. No alterations or modifications. Never repaired. Antique European 800 Silver cane walking stick parasol handle in completely original, excellent condition. It was made during the late Victorian to Early Edwardian Turn of The Century Era1880s to 1910 and has a nice chunky Victorian dogbone look. It is marked 800 with what looks like a lobster or crab hallmark and is also tested and Guaranteed to be solid 800 silver.....Not plated. Size is 5" tall north to south by 3 1/2" wide east to west. The silver is 5/8" wide in diameter at the top around the curve tapering down to 1/2" in diameter at the bottom where the parasol or cane would be attached. The inside still contains the original piece of drilled out wood in order to properly connect a cane, walking stick or parasol. Weight is 41.1 grams. Overall condition is excellent. Never monogrammed or inscribed. No modifications or alterations of any kind. Original as made by the original silversmith. Made by hand as seen in seams and joints. No dents or splits or tears. In Great Condition this is a lovely Antique Victorian to Edwardian Turn of the Century Period Fancy Open Work Large Dual Handled Silverplated Basket. Originally intended for Dessert/Cracker/Chunk Cake and meant to be brought to the table to be used as a Centerpiece OR to be used as a Bride's basket containing small flowers and or flower petals. It is marked EPNS and Maker Marked DA with a Hallmark between the D and the A. Also marked with a large letter G and numbered 6336. Size 11 1/2″ tall North to South by 12 3/4″ long East to West by 8 1/2″ wide across the center. Depth from edge to bottom is over 2″. Excellent very gently used. No Wear to the Silverplate! No dents, dings, deep scratches, tears etc…Never monogrammed or inscribed. It is from an estate and completely original, absolute minimal wear having only a sight bend to the double handle. Looks like it was hardly ever used. Antique Handmade Filigree Silver Copper Tongs Grippers from an estate and in worn, used condition. The center wire support and hand applied flowers are silver over copper while the rest, the thick twisted silver edges, the filigree, and the coin tips appear to be a very low grade silver or mixed silver alloy. All of the filigree is intact. There are no breaks. The flowers have a lot of age patina. The tips are made of old middle eastern or Turkish coins which are also well worn. Any age bends which can be corrected by hand as the silver bends easily. In spite of the age bends these grippers were well made by an experienced silver craftsman as the grippers are still very strong, hold their form when used and readily spring back into place properly with both coins precisely meeting each other. The coin tips are just under 3/4" across and the tongs measure 4 3/8" tall. For anyone who collects antique filigree and or Turkish Middle East silver this is a lovely early handmade addition for your collection.

Antique Repousse 999 Sterling Silver Mustard Pot Condiment Server - This is a gorgeous antique estate silver server composed of pure 999 silver; better than sterling grade. It is marked 999 in 2 places (under the lid and underneath the body) and is also has an age worn maker mark (see photo). The decoration is very ornate and extends completely around the body as well as throughout the top and consists of beautiful Victorian repousse scroll, floral, cross hatched design. Neither the front nor the back were ever monogrammed or inscribed. Size is 2 1/4" tall north to south from top of ball handle to base by 3 1/4" long east to west from edge of side handle to outer edge by 1 3/4" wide or deep front to back. Weight is 54.6 grams. Condition is excellent, gently used, not freshly polished, minor age wear only. No dents. Any dark spots you see in photos particularly near the cartouche for an engraving are just tarnish. It is very well made and still sits flat on the table without any wobble. Just add any tiny spoon you have and you will have a wonderful antique pot in pure 999 silver for your table!

This is an antique sterling silver individual salt caddy for 3 small individual salt shakers. It is marked sterling along with the early hallmark for Meriden Britannia which was the precursor of the International Silver Co. This marking was used between 1892 and 1930s. Individual salt shakers graced most formal dining tables during this time period. This caddy came from a group of estate silver and was kept in excellent overall condition all these years. It was never monogrammed or inscribed. All original, Never altered. No repair. No dents or deep scratches. Minimal age wear. Has not been freshly polished out. Antique Sterling Silver Travel Clock World War 1 1919 Black Starr Frost
This is an antique Black, Starr , Frost sterling silver travel alarm clock presented to a naval officer by his staff in 1919. All of their initials/monograms are shown on the top as they were engraved by the Black, Starr , Frost jeweler. The case has a carved Greek Key design on the border and the inside has a hammered design. Hallmarked and marked Black, Starr , Frost. Clock is 15 jeweled, J.C. Tava, Swiss. The officer to which this was presented had the initial CMD as you see in the center cartouche on the front along with the 1919 year date of presentation. Size of case is 3 1/2" by 2 3/4" by 5/8' deep. The inside holds its original Black, Starr 8 day alarm clock which is no longer working. Jeweler says it needs a spring but the rest of the mechanism looks fine. The case is excellent condition. You can hear the loud snap as it closes securely in place and it stays closed. From an estate and not polished. It has one small scratch on the front. Weight is 219.1 grams which includes the clock. As you know, Black Starr , Frost were exclusive, expensive silversmiths in the early 1900s. They used very thick, high quality silver in their products and were competitors of Tiffany , Co. This is a most unusual estate find for any World War 1, clock or antique sterling silver collection. Completely original.
